New spot....Same Family
Ever since April, our little sapce on the web has been, well....not so good. So we are trying a new address to gain back a little more control over our site. If you like our old picture, and miss our old postings, head on over to our OLD PLACE. That place was nice, and there are alot of good memeories there. But this to shall pass, and we hope to keep this one managed better. Here is a post we have been trying to get up for over several weeks now.......
Life Without Electricity

The mission field always offers fun and excitement. Right now, Tanzania is experiencing a small power dilemma….Ok..a huge power dilemma. For seven days a week, we only have electricity from 7pm to 7am. This power shortage is not only residential. The city water works has no power; neither does the factories that process natural gas for cooking. The gas thing wasn’t so bad until yesterday we realized that our gas had run out. Today I search all over the city trying to find gas, only to get the same answer…’Imeisha’ or ‘It finished!’ So until the city gets gas, Kimbra has to resort to cook on a small gas cylinder that we use to cook dog food. JOY!! At least we have something to cook on!
