The Past Few Weeks

The past few weeks have been busy here in Tanzania. I (Nick) was invited to preach a week long Missions Emphasis at Assemblies of God Bible School in Dodoma. I had the opportunity to speak about the Tarafa Project. I was encouraged to see the positive response by the students. They were excited about the opportunity to encourage their own congregations to give toward missions projects.
After Dodoma, we headed up to Mombasa for a short break. Kimbra's mother was in Kenya through the month of October, working with Breast Cancer Awareness. It was nice to relax, unwind and prepare for the coming months activities. We are grateful to finally have electricity again. After almost two solid months of power cuts, the electricity is staying on with some consistency. It is amazing how you can survive without power.
Please be in prayer with us for the coming months. We will be traveling quite a bit and are praying for protection on the roads. On Tues the 7th, we will be starting a small seminar that seeks to empower our pastors to live better lives. Kimbra's brother Kevin and his wife Miriam will be teaching a few of our keys leaders simple ways to improve their own lives and make roads into Muslim communities. We are believing that God can use these simple things to bring in a great harvest of souls.
The Tanzania field has stated a web site so you can become acquainted with the missionaries on the ground, and the ministries that they are involved in. Please visit us at fikiatanzania.squarespace.com to see how God is Reaching Out To Tanzania!
