New spot....Same Family
Ever since April, our little sapce on the web has been, well....not so good. So we are trying a new address to gain back a little more control over our site. If you like our old picture, and miss our old postings, head on over to our OLD PLACE. That place was nice, and there are alot of good memeories there. But this to shall pass, and we hope to keep this one managed better. Here is a post we have been trying to get up for over several weeks now.......
Life Without Electricity

The mission field always offers fun and excitement. Right now, Tanzania is experiencing a small power dilemma….Ok..a huge power dilemma. For seven days a week, we only have electricity from 7pm to 7am. This power shortage is not only residential. The city water works has no power; neither does the factories that process natural gas for cooking. The gas thing wasn’t so bad until yesterday we realized that our gas had run out. Today I search all over the city trying to find gas, only to get the same answer…’Imeisha’ or ‘It finished!’ So until the city gets gas, Kimbra has to resort to cook on a small gas cylinder that we use to cook dog food. JOY!! At least we have something to cook on!

Hey Stuv,
This is Jared, the guy that used to build the houses and play the stickball w/ you. Ocasionally there was a little computer work. :) I just had the urge to look you up and found your blog. Happy Birthday!! Its looks as though you guys are roughing it a bit... Its been a while, its good to see you guys living what you talked about so much.
Well, I'm not going to leave a long comment but hit me up when you get a chance. It'd be great to catch up.

Hey man,
Tony lived in "crazy", he hasn't just gone... :) yeah, Daniel T. and I are supposed to go down there soon to help him frame an 8000 sq ft. roof. We don't have a definate time frame.
Well, me and the girl finally split ways... I guess she had enough of me :)
I'm still doing computer work. Actually i've been blessed to be the IT Administrator over the local Sheriffs Office. Pretty cool stuff!
So whats it like over there? I've looked at the area on google earth but I have no idea exactly where you are. What kind of technology are you using for internet etc.?
Let me know... I'm going to be setting up a myspace page soon to post pics of my new baby (1985 toyota supra) so i'll pass that address on when i get it set up. I just don't like the whole "social networking" sites. :) Say Hi to the family from me

Hi: Grandma and I spent the noon hours at Creston today and had dinner at the Pizza ranch with Mom, your great grandmother and patty & Bob with virgil and pat and even {Pam Stewart. Brian and Belinda were there with Diane and Nicole. so we had a good time getting together. We shared your christmas letter or maybe your missionary letter. Everyone enjoyed it and was happy to learn more about what and where and how you are doing in Tanzania. Love you guys and it looks like Lexxi and Ethan are really growing up. Looking forward to seeing you all in June. Grandpa & Ma Stuva
